Three Young Indiana Sisters Found Dead at Home – Their Heartbroken Father Speaks Out
Rebecca Hughes, 32, and her daughters—Evalynn, 8, Allison, 6, and Amelia, 5—were found dead in their Wolcottville, Indiana, home on September 17 during a welfare check. The cause of death remains unknown as autopsy results are pending, but police assure there is no public threat.
Jonathan Newell, the girls’ father, shared his heartbreak, recalling his disbelief upon hearing the news. “Sometimes you’re mad. Sometimes you’re sad. Other times you’re so dissociated you don’t even feel like you’re there,” he said.
The community has raised over $45,000 via GoFundMe to cover funeral costs, with Jonathan expressing gratitude. “This is really the last thing I get to do for them,” he said. He is also using the tragedy to raise awareness about mental health, urging parents to seek help when needed.
