Bruce Willis was recently spotted looking cheerful while enjoying a car ride. The 69-year-old “Pulp Fiction” actor, who is battling aphasia and dementia, rarely makes public appearances, but he was seen riding in the passenger seat of a black car in Los Angeles.
Dressed in a casual black zip-up hoodie, a white T-shirt, and a black mesh baseball cap, the “Die Hard” star appeared calm and even shared a smile. Bruce, a proud father of five, has embraced family life with his daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah (from his marriage to Demi Moore) and Mabel Ray and Evelyn (with current wife Emma Heming).
During a September appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Demi Moore, his ex-wife from 1987 to 2000, shared that Bruce’s condition is “stable.” She encourages their daughters to cherish the present, saying, “I remind them to embrace who he is now, not who he used to be. There’s so much love and joy in being present.” Demi added that she visits him weekly when in Los Angeles.
Earlier this year, Rumer also mentioned that her father has formed a strong bond with her daughter, Louetta, and continues to be “a father through and through.” Despite Bruce’s upbeat moments, insiders say the family is aware of the challenges ahead and is preparing for what’s to come.
