A dog named Capitan spent six years sleeping at his owner’s grave every night

Dogs possess a love and loyalty that goes far beyond what most humans can offer—even continuing after [death].
May God bless them both. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

When Miguel Guzman passed away in 2006, his loyal dog Capitan disappeared soon after the [funeral] 🕊️.
His family searched everywhere and put up flyers 🧾, but there was no sign of him.

Then, about a week later, visitors at the [cemetery] noticed a dog lying quietly on Miguel’s grave 🪦.
They informed the cemetery staff, who contacted Miguel’s family.
They came and brought Capitan home 🏡—but every night, he would cry at the door 🚪, desperate to leave.
He always returned by morning ☀️.

Eventually, they discovered the truth: each night, Capitan was walking three miles 🚶‍♂️ to sleep beside his owner’s grave.
This heartbreaking routine continued for seven years 🗓️.

The cemetery even began leaving the gates open for him, as he arrived like clockwork at 6 p.m. ⏰ each evening.
He’d spend the night there, faithfully watching over the grave like the devoted companion he had always been 🛌❤️.
