I just invested $6,500 in a registered Black Angus bull.
Not long ago, I put \$6,500 into purchasing a registered Black Angus bull. After introducing him to the herd, I noticed he showed zero interest in the cows—he just grazed lazily, ignoring them completely. Worried I’d made a poor investment, I decided to have the vet take a look.
The vet examined him and confirmed he was in good health, though he suspected the bull might be a bit too young to show much interest yet.
To help things along, the vet gave me some pills to give him daily. Astonishingly, within just two days of starting the treatment, the bull’s behavior did a complete 180—he began breeding with all the cows in my herd and even busted through the fence to reach the neighbor’s. His sudden burst of energy and drive was unbelievable!
I still don’t know exactly what was in those pills, but they had a slight peppermint taste. 😂
